Not worth the stress or lack of pay for the amount of work you do. The pay is less than I'd make at a coffee shop or grocery store. I really enjoy working with students, but this company does not pay tutors anywhere near what they are worth. The children are so precious and appreciative of your presence in helping them in their educational needs.
You are to thinned out with behavioral issues or I like to call it children who would naturally be bored to their death because it's boring A daily nightmare. The mission is the same throughout, "to give every student the best education possible" and training is available for every aspect of the job. I worked 12 hour days during summer with no breaks due to understaffing. Pros Rewarding to be able to help students get the best education possible. They all really need you but lets face it: that's not happening. Remember at the end of the day, it is a business so being a great salesperson will help you to be successful at Huntington. Full time staff is paid about average for the industry but there are no benefits and taking time off is tricky without a large support staff.

But management at my location rarely knew what they were doing and were very disorganized. Cons No benefits from most franchise centers, long hours, sales. Most everyone who worked at this job was either a student or worked full time and tutored as a side gig - it's not something a person could make a living off of which can be frustrating given the sometimes excessive management and dress code requirements. Fulfilling teaching position teaching students who are in high need of extra support.

I watched them throw new tutors into working with barely any training, poor things. Excellent place to work, you know that the program really does help students improve academically, the culture is very positive for students and staff.
